A series of short instructional videos on techniques, safety and best practice for refrigeration and air-conditioning technicians
This application, consisting of short instructional videos on techniques, safety and best practice, serves as a complementary training tool for refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) sector servicing technicians to help them revise and retain the skills they have acquired during hands-on training. The videos are not intended to replace structured formal technician training, but to supplement and provide some revision of tips and skills and to build on training already undertaken.
The application forms a part of UN Environment (UNEP) OzonAction’s portfolio of activities and tools to help enhance the knowledge and skills of technicians in the servicing and maintenance of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. OzonAction provides assistance to various stakeholders in developing countries, including technicians, to achieve and maintain compliance with the Montreal Protocol on Substances the Deplete the Ozone Layer. The videos were produced in collaboration with Bundesfachschule Kälte Klima Technik.
